Safety:
The top priority for Breakfree Adventures is our customers safety and comfort through their entire journey to Nepal. Our leaders have all been thoroughly trained by KEEP, ACAP and TAAN in travel safety and highly experienced in leading groups through the Himalayas. All of our guides have had Nepalese Government administered training courses in first aid and CPR to assure our clients safety. In the rare case of an incident occurring on the trek they can organize a rapid medical evacuation. All of our guides carry first aid kits on all of our tours, which are readily available for both customers and staff. We stay in constantly contact with our field office that monitors all aspects of weather issues that might affect your trip. Also, we are always available on our hour 24 hours emergency phone line. During remote treks excursions, where the nearest village might a long distance away, our staff carries satellite phones for communication and in case of emergency, helicopter rescue is available.

While trekking in the Himilayas, our customers do experience difficulties such as occasional altitude sickness and lodging that is not as comfortable as a hotel. Many companies will tell you only about the positive aspects of travel and will not be honest about potential difficulties experienced along trekking routes. We do not want to mislead our clients into thinking that trekking is just a walk in the park, so we discuss at length with our clients about how to be best prepared for the excursions they wish to embark upon.
