Everest Region Trek
Everest region is famous for trekking as well as peak climbing. The prominent magnetism of this area is the majestic mountains, the high mountain villages, the isolated monasteries, and the local Sherpa peoples. This area includes the highest mountain in the world, Everest at 8848m. as measured by the height of its summit above sea level. The mountain, which is part of the Himalaya range in High Asia, is located on the border between Nepal and Tibet, China, and many of the world’s 8000m peaks such as Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu. Nearness to the Everest region requires either a week’s walk or a flight to Lukla.

The main goal of many Everest trekkers is the Everest Base Camp at an elevation of about 5340m. From Everest Base Camp you will have the spectacular views of Mount Everest. Kalapattar is the best place to observe the panoramic view of Mount Everest.
The must-see place of this region is Sagarmatha National Park spreading 1,148 square kilometers, which is the gift of nature and the home of a rich cultural heritage The Park is also the home to the world renowned mountains-climbing people, the Sherpa’s. From this area you will observe some of Nepal’s gushing Himalayan Rivers. The snow clad mountains and various glaciers of this region touch the heart and imagination of everyone. The prominent glaciers are Khumbu, Lhotse, Imja, Ngozunba and Nangpa which are the remarkable jewels of this area. In this region, you will found much interesting wildlife including the Himalayan Tahr, ghoral, musk deer, pikka (mouse hare), weasel, jackal and others. Birds found in this region are the Impeyan Pheasant (danphe), blood pheasant, red billed chough, yellow billed chough, snow cock, snow pigeon, Himalayan griffon and lammergeyer.
