Flying to Bhutan from Kathmandu:

It is one of the most preferred routes to enter Bhutan by air. Paro International Airport is in closer proximity from Kathmandu than from other cities that offer direct flights, because of this the airfare are usually cheaper around ($280 to $300) and flight time is generally less. From Kathmandu you can get to the Paro International Airport in 1 – 1 and half hours. Also, the flight frequency is also high in Kathmandu than any other cities that have direct flights.
