Health and Medicines

Health and safety is the prime concern of Breakfree Adventures. We advise you to carry medical kit and enough medications while going for trips. You are advised to carry pain killers, antiseptics, cottons, and other general medicines during the trips. Hospitals and health care centers are easily accessible in Kathmandu and other major cities of Nepal but finding a doctor in rural area is very difficult. It is always better if you carry necessary medicines to be in the safe side.

The common illness includes diarrhea, fever, common cold, headache, AMS etc. High altitude sickness in quite common while trekking in higher altitude. We will arrange helicopter rescue, emergency rescue etc. if required.

We also recommend you to go through the medical examination, take necessary vaccinations and purchase an insurance policy before starting your trip to Nepal.
