Everest Heli Tour starts from Kathmandu flying towards the east unfolding spectacular mountain drama to the gateway of the Everest region, Lukla. After refueling in Lukla, you will fly over Everest Base Camp and land at Kalapathar for photography. The helicopter flies past Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep, Khumbu glacier, Everest base camp and finally land at Kalapathar as per the weather conditions. You will be given about 5-10 minutes approx. time for some photographic opportunities and fly towards Syangboche at Hotel Everest View for breakfast. Hotel Everest View at Syangboche also offers great views of Mt. Everest and all the other Khumbu giants.

All throughout the Heli Tour to Mt. Everest Base Camp, you will come across majestic panorama of some of the worlds tallest mountains including Mt. Everest. Afterwards, fly to Kathmandu en-route stopping again at Lukla for refueling then you will fly back to Kathmandu. Outline Itinerary

Day 01 : Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu & fly over Everest base camp and landing at Kalapathar (5545m/18192ft) & fly back Everest View Hotel, Syangboche (3,780m)/Kathmandu

Day 01 : Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu & fly over Everest base camp and landing at Kalapathar (5545m/18192ft) & fly back Everest View Hotel, Syangboche (3,780m)/Kathmandu

Early in the morning, pick-up from the hotel and drive to the Tribhuvan Airport (domestic). Board the helicopter and fly to Lukla – short stop at Lukla for fueling. Then fly towards Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep, Khumbu glacier, Everest Base Camp and land at Kalapathar as per the weather conditions. The helicopter will stay for about 05-10 minutes approx. then fly to Syangboche (3,780m) to the Everest View Hotel. Breakfast at the hotel witnessing some great mountain panorama. Then fly back to Kathmandu & transfer to your hotel.

We operate Mt. Everest Helicopter Tour privately daily so that you don’t have to confront with other people who might have different interests or attitudes. If you wish to join a group, please kindly contact us.
Tour Operation
The pilot will try his best to land at the Base Camp (5364m/17598ft), and this also depends upon the weather conditions/helipad availability. If unable to land at the base camp, it will go/land to Kalapather (5545m/18192ft) which commands a majestic panorama of the Khumbu mountains including Mt. Everest. 
We use comfortable car/mini-van for the transfers to/from hotel to airport and back. (For up to 2 people, car is provided and mini-van is for the group 3 & above)
Tour duration
The tour duration is 3.5 - 4 hours.  
Group Size
The group size is from 1 - 5 person per charter. If there is group size 4-5 person, we will do two shuttle from Everest View Hotel or Lobuche. 
Clothing varies with the type of tour and season. It’s warm in Kathmandu from April to October-end and from November to March-end, days are usually warm but evening colder. Summer clothes are okay during the daytime but the evening requires a light jacket. Winter is from December until February so bring along sufficient winter wears like jackets, sweaters, trousers etc. Or you can purchase clothes of your choice in Kathmandu clothing stores too.
When is the best time to do this trip?
Though the tour can be done round the year, the best months are September- December, January- June.

What should I wear?
It depends as per the season; during spring/summer jacket (but not so thin)/thermals are suggested and in winter warm jackets/thermals will be fine.

Do you check weather before flying?
Yes, we only fly when the weather is clear and the Himalayas are visible up in the Everest region. Flight operates only after our staff stationed in/around Everest region confirms the weather is good to fly with good Himalayan views.
If we cant land at because of weather condition? Do we get refund?
We only operate/fly after the confirmation of clear weather. The helicopter caption will do his best for the landing. But please note Himalayan weather are rather un-predictable and changes within a matter of minutes. So, if incase we can’t land then there won’t be refund.

If flight cancelled, do i get refund?
If the flight is cancelled due to weather then we shall try the next morning. If you can’t join next morning due to your travel-date then 5% of the total tour cost will be levied to cover our administrative/operational cost, advance helicopter booking, transportation etc.

In what case i dont get refund?
If you cancel the tour on the day of the tour’s departure then there wont be refund.

Where do you land in this flight?
There are two options: Everest Base Camp or Kalapather. Landing at EBC depends upon the availability of the helipad at the base camp as Everest Base Camp is constantly changing as per the season, so helipad might not be available. Alternatively, you will land at Kalapather  (5550m), the  popular Himalayan view point, from where Mt. Everest is clearly visible including other Khumbu giants. At Kalapather, the helicopter will stay for about 10 minutes for photographic opportunities the flies to Hotel Everest View for breakfast.

How much are the National Park Permit?
The national park permit fee is US$35 per person which is directly payable to the staff of Sagarmatha National Park at the Hotel Everest View.

Is Gokyo Lake cover in this flight?
Tour to Gokyo Lake isn’t covered and will be extra.

Will there be other people in private flight?
No, this is your private tour and no other people will join in; besides one tour escort/staff from the company to assist you during the tour.

Do you have groups where i can join to make price cheaper?
We do have group; for which you just need to let us know your exact travel-date, and we shall join you up with a group if your date coincide with others.

What are the mode of payment?
You can make the payment either by credit-card or paypal. Kindly note both will incur extra 4% which is the bank fee. Cash is also accepted.

Are there any hidden price?
No, there are no hidden prices and the tour cost what we offer you is the final one besides the costs for the Everest permit fee and breakfast at Hotel Everest View, Syangboche are extras.

The flight starts/ends in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport.
