So much so, now, Bardia National park is home to 839 species of flora and 642 species of fauna. Some of the rarer forms of animals and birds found here are rhinoceros, wild elephants, Bengal Tiger, swamp deer and Gangetic dolphin. There is much that one would gain from taking the Bardia Jungle Safari with us. To name a few, the crocodile breeding center in which you get to see how crocodiles hatch, breed and then released into the wild of the park to make their ways in the environment most natural to them. Then, there is rafting on the Karnali rivers which takes one on a ride through the jungle past villages and animals on the roam. Visiting the local tribes of the area called the Tharus who happen to be the guardians of the forest and observing their walk of life, is another thing which you do here. The grand thing about the tour is what is known as the elephant backed ride. It is a safari trip into the depths of the forest in hopes of spotting some wildlife. Then again, there is the bird watching, which you do to see how many different species of birds you can spot. The jungle walks you take in the natural environment. Finally, it is the cultural programs which the tribal put up to show you some of their tradition in this area of the world. On the whole, this Bardia Jungle Safari would naturally be a wonderful experience.
Is there no harm from the animals?
To say it out loud, there is more harm from the human side rather than the other way around. Yes, the fear of being attacked by the larger animals is there, but you need to understand that you are always with a naturalist when you enter the jungle. He knows his way around with animals. Plus when you go deep into the forest, you are either on the back of an elephant or in a jeep. People from the urban areas are always apprehensive of the rural. Yet people have been living in a natural setting much before they became urbanites. If you want to enjoy a natural environment, then you would enjoy this eco-friendly tour as well.
