You will be driven from Pokhara to Kande, where the trailhead for the hike is situated. The hiking trail passes through rustic villages and hamlets, dense vegetation, and terraced farm fields. After 4-5 hours of uphill hike, reach Australian Base Camp. From the base camp, enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Annapurna Range, and surrounding landscapes.
Hike downhill, passing through the mesmerizing Dhampus, to rejoin the highway.
Drive back to the hotel in Pokhara for the night stay.
On the fifth day, you will get back to Kathmandu.
You can either drive or fly back to Kathmandu. A flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes 45 minutes, whereas the 200 km or 124 miles drive takes anywhere from 7-8 hours.
From the drop-off point, either the airport or the bus park, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, you can explore the markets of Kathmandu and buy souvenirs and gifts for yourself, friends, or family.
