Nepal Adventure Tour happens to be a list of adventure activities that you do in and around Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan such as paragliding, bungee jumping, rafting, jungle safaris, sightseeing, cycling and a few others in an environment congenial for such activities.
Nepal Adventure Tour wants to cut short the hype, that Nepal is only a place for Hiking in Nepal, peak climbing and Everest Mount Flight, when it comes to adventure. Yes, that might be some of the eco-friendly adventurous on offer in Nepal, but there is more to offer in adventure tourism in Nepal. This is why this package has been made, wherein one go, you have most of which can be termed as an adventurous thrill in the eight days on it. You get to soar the skies of Pokhara in paragliding, you get to jump into a gorge of 130 meters over the River Bhote Kosi, you go down the rapids in what is known as white water rafting in the Trishuli and you head to Chitwan for some safari and jungle activities there. Along with some cooler stuff of sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara of the snow-capped peaks with the early morning sun over them. Then, there are cycling through the streets of Kathmandu sightseeing different destinations of worth noting and the Everest Mountain flight to see the world’s highest places with their snow-covered-peaks from the skies. So much so when it is all over and you are ready to head back home, you say, there is an extreme adventure in Nepal too.
Where do I stay?
You stay in three-star hotels as far as possible in proximity to the venue of the adventure. They are mostly in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. When necessary, you will be taken to the venue in a private vehicle except when you bicycle in Kathmandu.

Itinerary
Today you arrive in Kathmandu for your adventure trips. A representative from the company will be waiting to welcome you at the international airport and then take you to your three star hotel lodging. You could use the remaining day time left, if any, to check out Kathmandu.
Today, you will early to the starting point for rafting on the River Trishuli for a four hour adventurous trip. You will cross all forms of white water rapids including class four till a little head of Narayanghat. You will be picked up from there and then driven to Pokhara where you check into a three star hotel for your stay.
Day three seems to get more interesting with the activities. First you are taken to Sarangkot, a vantage point to see the sun rising over the Annapurna, Machhapuchhare and others snow-capped peaks. From there you are taken on a city tour of interesting places in Pokhara, like the Davis Waterfall and caves which houses a temple and then to the mountaineering museum. Later it is back to Sarangkot in the afternoon for your paragliding trip over Pokhara. After you are picked up, it will be a boat ride to the centre of the lake called Fewa Tal to the island which has a temple of the deity of the lake. Then it is back to the Hotel for the night’s stay.
Today, we take a five hour drive to Chitwan by early morning tourist bus and check into a three star lodging. We then begin the day with a trip to a Tharu village for sightseeing into life style and return later for a cultural show by them while in between we head to the elephant breeding centre to learn much. Finally, we return for bed to the hotel.
Today, we will occupied in a number of jungle related activities in Chitwan. We begin with an early wake up call for breakfast and bird watching. Later it is a walk into the forest and then head for the elephant breeding centre for an elephant back safari into the jungle with a naturalist and then have a bath along with the elephant. We return for lunch and head back for a canoe ride down the river to see crocodiles. Then it is sunset point for the sun setting over the forest and finally return to the hotel for our stay.
Today, we wake early to do some bird watching over breakfast and then catch the tourist bus back to Kathmandu in a seven hour ride most of which will be the river we rafted on along with the lush rolling green hills and the way side villages. At Kathmandu, we check into the hotel and spend any remaining time as might please use.
We get up early in the morning, have our breakfast and set off to The Last Resort to take the thrilling experience of Bungee Jumping in the Bhote Koshi River. We will reach the last resort in approximately three hours from Kathmandu. This is Nepal’s first Bungee Jumping site and is situated 160m over the wild Bhote Koshi River. The site has been specially designed for Bungee Jumping and has met all the security standards. The Bhote Koshi River looks like a stream when viewed from above. One has be mentally prepared and physically sound to jump off the remarkable 160m drop into the Bhote Koshi River Gorge. It is of course a thrilling experience but also filled with fun and excitement. It is strongly advised to not to take any intoxicants before the jump. We will drive back to Kathmandu after the thrilling experience of Bungee Jumping in the Bhote Koshi Gorge. Overnight, we stay at the hotel.
Early in the day, you will be taken to the airport for your Everest Mountain flight in which you will not only get a taste of what rural Nepal looks from the top but also flown over the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan Ranges from Kanchenjunga to Annapurna getting aerial views of them and Everest in the Bargain in a one hour flight. When you return, you will be taken on a bicycle tour of the city to namely four place of interest. The Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath temple and Boudhanath, all four are UNESCO World Heritage Sites of value nationally and internationally. You return for your stay at the hotel.
As per the timing of our flight, we are taken three hours earlier than it for check in formalities and bid goodbye by a representative of the company.

Nepal is a landlocked country located between India to the east, south, and west and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and situated in central Nepal.
To get to Nepal one can be entered via land or flight. Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu is the only international airport in Nepal. Many airlines like Air India, Singapore Airlines, Thai, Qatar, Turkish Air, China Southern, Etihad, Lufthansa etc including Nepal Airlines (Nepal’s national flag carrier) connect Kathmandu with the rest of the world. You can fly to Kath mandu from cities like Osaka, Shanghai, London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Delhi, Dubai, Bombay and Calcutta. If you have bought tickets from other airlines, you’d probably be connected with one of these airlines for your flight to Kathmandu. Via land you can enter from through several borders from India and also two borders from Tibet, China.
Yes, Nepal visa is on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The Visa fee for a tourist visa is US$30 per person or equivalent convertible foreign currency for multiple entries of 15 days from the date of entry. For 30 days is US$50 per person for multiple entries and US$125 per person for 90 days.
The best time of year to visit Nepal is between September to November and February to May which are considered the high tourist season when travelers, trekkers including mountaineers come to Nepal for a holiday. Nepal can be visited in other months too during when it will be fewer tourists and no hustle-bustle. Also, remember Jun-Aug is the monsoon season, so it’s a bit offseason but people do come and trekking is possible in the rain shadow area like Mustang.
The currency used in Nepal is called Rupees (Rs) NPR. 1000, 500, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 are the denominations in notes whereas 1 Rs, 2 Rs, and 5 Rs are in coins. Rs. 1 is equals to 100 paisa but paisa or coins are less used nowadays. So you will be getting currency notes instead but sometimes coins are used too if there’s no change in notes.
You can find plenty of ATM in Nepal at the major cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara. Thamel, the main tourist hub in Kathmandu, also has lots of ATMs including another tourist hub ‘Pokhara. All major international credit cards (Master Card, Visa Card etc) are also accepted by leading hotels, restaurants, shopping centers or most of the shops in the tourist areas.
You need to check with your mobile service provider if Nepal is also included in its global roaming package. Not all parts of Nepal are covered by GSM network.
Everest mountain flight is an exclusive flight by plane to observe Mt. Everest and other world’s tallest mountains. Also known as Everest experience mountain flight, the flight is about an hour which start/end in Kathmandu done early in the morning.

Clothing
Clothing varies with the type of tour and season. It’s warm in Kathmandu from April to October-end and from November to March-end, days are usually warm but evening colder. Summer clothes are okay during the day time but the evening requires a light jackets. Winter is from December till February so bring along sufficient winter wears like jackets, sweaters, trousers etc. Or you can purchase clothes of your choice in Kathmandu clothing stores too.

Kathmandu Durbar Square (World Heritage Site)
This complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. An intriguing piece here is the 17th- century stone inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages. The Durbar Square is the social, religious and urban focal point of the city. There are also three museums inside the palace building.
Swoyambhunath Stupa – The Monkey Temple (World Heritage Site)
The huge stupa is one of the holiest Buddhists sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake. Swayambhu is also known the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living in the premises. The stupa is towards the western side of the Kathmandu valley atop a hillock commanding great view of the entire Kathmandu Valley.
Pashupatinath Temple (World Heritage Site)
Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred Hindu shrines located 5 kms east of the city center. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred Linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva. Chronicles indicate the temples existence prior to 400 AD. The holy Bagmati River flowing beside the temple is also the cremation ground for Hindus.
Bouddhanath Stupa (World Heritage Site)
The Bouddhanath Stups is the largest stupa in the valley located about 6 kms to the east of downtown Kathmandu. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating
specimens of stupa design. Buddhanath is also known as Khasti, or dew drops, after an account that builders had to use dew to mix the mortar as Kathmandu was suffering from a severe drought during the construction of Bouddhanath.

Sarangkot
Sarangkot is the Himalayan view-point located at an altitude of 1600m. From Sarangkot, on the northern direction one can spot Dhawalagiri in the far west, Annapurna range is visible when the weather is clear on the same side. On the southern direction overlooks the Pokhara city and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city.
Davis fall
Locally known as Patale Chhango and in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley, it is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes.
Gupteshwor Cave
The revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated 2 kms from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Davis fall and the cave is almost 3 kms long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered

Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is the UNESCO Natural Wolrd Heritage site located in the plains Terai of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile.
